How we look after the information you share with us when you visit this website or book Cornerstone Cottage.
Who we are
Cotswold Spa Holiday is the website for Cornerstone Cottage, a privately owned holiday cottage on Lower Mill Estate in the Cotswold Water Park. In this policy, “we” means the owners of Cornerstone Cottage, who decide how your personal information is used. You can contact us about anything in this policy through our contact page.
What we collect and why

This website doesn’t use analytics or advertising cookies. It only uses cookies it needs to work, such as remembering your cookie choice. We never sell your information, and we only use it for the reasons above.
Who we share it with
We share only what each service needs to do its job:
- SuperControl runs our online booking calendar and payment system.
- Lower Mill Estate receives guest names and the number of adults, children and infants in your party, but no contact details, so it can manage access to the estate and its facilities.
- Our email newsletter service stores our mailing list and sends our emails.
- Embedded content, such as the 3D tour (Matterport), the booking calendar (SuperControl) and web fonts (Google Fonts), may collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, when it loads, under that provider’s privacy policy.
Some of these providers store data outside the UK. When they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it

Your rights and how to ask
You can ask us to:
- send you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct anything that’s wrong
- delete your information, unless we have to keep it by law
- stop using it, or object to how we use it
- stop our emails, using the unsubscribe link in any email we send
To ask, get in touch through our contact page. We’ll reply within one month and there’s no charge. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
